Started a test render at the weekend (still going !!) for the end scene of my next film.
Want to learn how to do camera tracking. I would like to see if I can do a camera move (simple tilt upwards on a jib) with an actor against a green screen with markers on it !! Me and green screens - will I ever learn!
First part is to see if I can pull off a completely CGI scene of an office floor that is full of empty desks which reveal themselves as the camera moves up and the lights come on ....
Will post the result as soon as soon as it finishes rendering.
Actor Brian Eastty has agreed to play the title role of this almost silent film.
Finally finished Census. Did the extra work on the Big Ben scene to bring it full screen for more impact - added Mark Pover's soundtrack and corrected a spelling mistake!
First DVD sent to actor Brian Eastty - all worked well - DVD cover was a bit dark but DVD face came out better than expected.
Have sent it in to the Colchester Film Festival for review. It's a bit too high brow/prestigious for my little effort seeing as one of last years entries had Martin a Freeman starring in it ... It was free to enter so nothing to loose.
Will need to sort out some new DVD's for the OVFM top ten and for the Strawberry Fields Festival. Entered 'Eco' into that one but didn't get picked - so you never know.
